We'll Miss You Tom
by Travis Bauer (Age: 21)
copyright 04-01-2004

Age Rating: 1 to 127

I never really got to know you.
Of course, I never really took the time to.
But that little time I did take,
Was just the begining of our friendship.

A lot of people didn't understand you.
In fact, some people hated you.
There are many who knew you well,
And some who didn't know you at all.

Standing here at your grave Tom, I know
Those who didn't understand, and those who hated,
Those who knew you, and those who didn't,
will all miss you so very much.

You left a lot behind you Tom.
Your jokes, your smile, and crazy ways.
How you could turn any day into a good day.
You've always made us all laugh.

Well Tom, I guess this is the end,
Although I don't beleive it should be.
I hope to see you in Heaven,
Where I'm sure we'll have lots to share.

This is for my friend Thomas Krook who died in a car crash...

Travis, losing a friend at any age can certainly be hard. If you're anything like me, writing helps to ease the pain. Wonderful tribute to your friend.

Hi Travis,
I can see you put some real thought and emotion into this piece. A wonderful and moving tribute to a friend. Thanks for sharing this with all of us. Hope your memory is long, and your sorrow brief.

Travis,
I'm so sorry to hear about the car crash. To lose a friend ( whatever degree the friendship) is one of the most difficult things to endure. You've written him a wonderful dedication piece, something to be proud of. His memory will ive on, thanks to the people who knew him and because of people like you who remember him through things like this. Beautifully done.

~Steffie~
