Oh, how you take my breath away, my intimidating Harvest Moon,
How might you shine, so orange, and so bright?
Your luminous presence overwhelms me,
Casting your beams, across this brisk autumn night.
You hurl endless spectrums of light for all to see,
The rich bounty of the glistening fall harvest.
Your rich beams radiate across the fields and thru the trees.
Admiring your beauty as I gaze at the northernly sky,
Silhouettes of flocks of geese, honking southward they fly.
Mesmerized by the array of shades you cast, and the spectrums of hue,
No wonder why at first glance, I fell in love with you.
As time passes me by, might I find her real fast,
And may I fall in love with her very soon.
A women only half as beautiful,
And a love as everlasting.
As the love I have for you,
My Harvest Moon.
