In my heart

A feeling overcomes me and I cannot get away,
it pulls me even closer with every word you say.
It taunts my every thought as it wraps around my brain
every time I think of you it brings me so much pain.
It suffocates me slowly as thought of you prevail
But I've got to keep on going or I know I'll surely fail.
I need to end this mystery before it brings my end,
I need to just stop running and look around the bend.
But if I solve this mystery it would cut my soul in two
cause then I'd know what I feel when I'm thinking about you.
The more and more I think about it, the less and less I doubt, that I am clueless of this misery and what it's all about.
The feeling is getting clearer now, it's clear enough to see, There's only one thing that can cause this pain inside of me.
It's the fact I miss you dearly and I love you even more, it's the pain of love, the hurt of loss that's knocking at my door.
To love and lose is better then to never love they say,I know this quote is true, and I think of it every day.
I except the pain more openly, but I wish it went away,
But if that means I lose you, I'd want it every day.
We weren't as close as we could have been and that I do regret, but the stuff we got to do I never will forget.
I want to kiss you softly, and hold yo by my side,
Just because it went away Doesn't mean out friendship died.
I think about it every day and this I know is true,
the happiest day of my life was the day that I met you.
