Life’s waking dreams are unsolved mysteries
Set amidst the changing tides of altered schemes
Appeasements and apologies
Seem to be its greatest themes
Time sparks the melody of here and now
Deep-seated clues of past events escaping
Who, what, where and when becomes somehow
The potter’s tool remeasuring, reshaping
The human vessel that is known as me
Lost memories beg to be awakened
Fate holds the hand of accountability
Until my name is luminous, I remain forsaken

Set amidst the changing tides of altered schemes. That's the line that rings clearest in my mind when reading this. Deep-seated-clues-memories-waking up. Words that jump out and sing to me. Great picture, also!
I'm new here, so I'll go peek at your other work. This one grabbed my attention quick, nice poem.
Like Toni,
my favorite lines were the opening.
I have always viewed life as an unsolved mystery.
How did we get here, why did we make the choices we did, and,, what awaits us at the end of our paths?
Fate holds the hand of accountability ...
makes you wonder, doesn't it?
And last night I watched a segment on Columbine and you wonder, who's accountable? Just the two students? Their parents? The doctors prescribing the wrong medication? Neighbors? Really... it will all come out in the end... somehow. Fate finds a way. I realize I went off on a tangent, but much of your poetry gets me thinking and not always perhaps what your poem intended me to think. *shrug* But that's why I like your work so much, it BECAUSE it makes people think who wish to think, and entertains those who do not. ;-)
I think it was good. Seems like something people who are dying to become famous are thinking. It's not all that great having your name in lights. I love the ending!
hiiiiiiiii!!
I think this poem is really good it says a lot and so does the picture, i love all the wording and how it all seems to fit together line after line, it jsut says more and more....anyways wonderful work!!!!
