~To The Boy Who Sits in Front of Me In Chemistry Class~
I sit here in the back of class
Admiring your collar--
Maybe I should admire the board
And take some decent notes?
No!
Oh, what a lovely head you have~
At least, that's what I guess,
I can't really tell
But you have a gorgeous neck.
And hair, what hair!
In a tapered cut
So nice and oh-so-neat
But from what I see
The rest is rather unkempt
(Though, once again, I assume)
Still you wear a wondrous shirt
From here
I mean,
It draws me to you, right?
Perhaps.
Or... is it that I must,
Yes, must! look up to the board
Though I never take a note
And sit here writing odes,
Odes to the back of your head.

this is soo cute! I remember being in grade school and sitting behind some guys with VERY NICE HAIR. whoooo... =^.^= nice, shaggy hair is one thing that attracts me to guys. well, ok, I can appreciate a good short trim too... whatever. this is an awesome poem and it's something like things I've always made up in my hed but never dreamed to record. great job!
Haha! Very clever! The title reminded me of my best friend telling me about a boy she has to sit behind who has major body odor issues. Whenever I mention something smelly she always goes back to him....
Sorry, a little sidetracked there. Anyway, I would have never thought of writing an ode to the back of someone's head. Come to think of it I don't even know how to write an ode...

LOL!!! THis was absolutely wonderful!! I'm having a really bad day and reading something so quirky just totally brightened things up for me!! I've never really thought about actually writing about the back of someone's head though it seems that the only way you really know some people is through simply staring at their back the entire year...O.o....
