They don’t come with fragile stickers,
they’re totally hardcore!
They trip and fall into your life
and NEVER use the door!

They tease, and mock, and diss you,
they laugh cruelly in your face.
Their spirit knows no limits,
they’ve won the human race!

They can be quiet and gentle,
or be wild beyond compare.
But when you truly need them,
you know that they’ll be there!

They touch your stuff, pick up your phone,
they party all night long!
They talk back to all your elders
and don’t tell you right from wrong!

There are no secrets from them,
they know you all too well,
but you can trust them with your life,
they’d rather die than tell!

They’ll always have a shoulder
to lend you when you’re blue.
A hug, a smile, a kind remark,
and always time for you!

They’re absolutely perfect
in every single way!
They have that special something
to brighten up your day.

Yeah, they’ll sometimes fight you
and forget to make amends,
they first insult and then forgive,
but that’s why you call them friends!
