Kissed by a Beauty
by Irina Guschina (Age: 53)
copyright 05-08-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

(Tanka)

Kissed by a Beauty,
What is she thinking about?
Black-eyed butterfly,

Blooming on a palm of love,
She lights up your life with smile.

If you had written, "with A smile" it would have limited the power of the smile, as if it were a token to be given, a small gift to be eventually forgotten. No. You did no such thing. You typed, "She lights up your life with smile," as if to incinuate that smile is a feeling, an entity, something infectious and good. Something much more than can be "A" anything. (I hope you understood my meaning...because I loved yours!)

I love the way you write! I completely love short poems with so much feelings and emotions.
Please do write more! I wait patiently.

Your talent lightens and lifts the butterfly even higher. Words paint a picture perfect. Walt

ALways, sweet Ira, you capture the butterfly of intense feeling and love with your precious words and inherent ability to paint with words what few can describe...wonderful...

Warm hugs,
Lyle
