You taste sweet,
Like butterschotch and
Mullberries
Absinthe and
Amphetamine.
A sweet zypher soothing over
My paradoxical analogies.
My escape from the living.
The protector of my dead.
The destroyer of my ghosts.
Standing tall
A crucifex never seen
An edifice which never crumbled
An image that always remained,
You were the giver of pain
Of nothing.
You were my suicide fortress.
This was --Untitled-- but Kira P. helped me come up with a title! ALL MUST FEEL ETERNAL LOVE FOR HER!! Bwahahahahahahahahahaha! *coughs*

Everyone has a distinct style, and there's definitely no mistakening your's. You works has such a real, emotional, and dare I say melancholy tone that is unmistakably Debra Rose. Powerful imagery.
Macabre as ever. Sounds like a trip I had on LSD way back in the 60's. The imagry is vivid and very stirring. You have the gift of stirring the emotions, ripping into the core of an emotion and lay it bare! Excellent.
Very interesting poem with good use of words ^-^` basically...i really liked it lol it was really good shame it has no title you'll have to come up with one!!! (eventually)

Hi Deb!!
I like the caustic concept, and how you portray your dilema to the reader. Good comparisons...sweet vs, bitter, strength vs. weakness, life vs. death. Well written piece.
