This was originally a song, with quite an interesting melody. Maybe when I perfect it, you'll hear it on the radio. ^_~

Do you ever feel,
that the world isn't round?

that you're not on the ground?
Have you ever made,
a wish upon a star?
Do people really know,
exactly who you are?
Have you ever tried,
to reach for the sky,
only to discover
you can't go that high?
Have you ever thought,
that your dreams would come true,
only to discover...
that they won't for you?

I've seen this world for what it really is,
without the love and fairy tales.
And I have to tell you, it's always this,
that lust and love will forever fail.

Love is murder to your heart,
bringing only pain.
And though it feels good at the start,
it only ends with rain.

The rush, the glory,
of meeting someone new.
The end, it's over for me,
we're completely through...

Love wore these angel wings,
looking innocent and true.
But then those little things,
led into something you couldn't do.

You knew right then, you'd been deceived,
