Scouts Around the World
Chapter 2- The Plan, Serena's Mission
by Katie Langolf (Age: 22)
copyright 05-27-2004

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Serena is lying on her bed staring into space. She's thinking about the emergency scout meeting they had right after the attack.

-flashback to the day before-

"The Sailor Moon who was attacking Tokyo earlier this morning has turned out to be a fake. The real Sailor Moon showed up while the evil Sailor Moon was causing mass mayhem. She instantly cleared her name by defeating the evil Sailor Moon, restoring peace to the city," said the News anchor guy (Who sounded alot like the Kim Possible news guy). "In other news, a little girl found her lost sheep today..."-TV is turned off-

"Glad that's over," Mina said, having turned off the TV.

The scouts were in their control room under the Crown Game Center. They were watching the News on one of the monitors. Amy, Raye, Lita, Mina, Serena, Tony, Rini, Darien, Yumi, the cats and Honey were all there.

"I'm not so sure it is, Mina," Artimis said, sadly.

"What do you mean, Artimis?" Lita said. "If Dark Sailor Moon was the only attacker, aren't we safe?"

"We're not sure she is the only one," Luna said.

"Yeah, scanners detected a power sourse similar to Dark Sailor Moon's at the exact same time that she showed up," Diana said.

"So there are others that strong?" Serena asked.
"I'm afraid so, Serena," Luna said.
"But, how will we fight them?" Lita asked.
"Yeah, We can't use Sailor Planet Attack everytime the enemy shows themselves," Raye said.
"That's a problem we don't have an answer for," Honey said, speaking for the other guardians and herself.

"I wonder..." said Tony, suddenly. Everyone looked at Tony.
"What's up, Tony?" Yumi asked.
"...Well," Tony began, "I've been experimenting with a proto-type scanner program. I've recently got all of the bugs out of it and it works perfectly."

"What does it do?" Amy asked.
"I'll show you," Tony said. She turned towards the computer and typed in a program. A second later, the lights dimmed and a holographic projection of a map of Japan appeared in the middle of the control room. There were four maps that formed the sides of a cube so that everyone had a clear view. The map was dotted with green lights.
" The green lights are known scouts," Tony explained. "Basically, the program is a Sailor Scout Finder. I call it Scout Eye 01..."
"Cool!" Lita said.
"It's very nice, but I don't see..." began Luna.
"Keep your tail on, I was getting to that," Tony said. "You see what happens when I use it on a map of Japan, right? Watch what happens when I use it on a globe." Tony hit a few more keys and the map disappeared. In its place was a spinning globe of the earth. Like the map, the globe was dotted with spots of light. Some were red, some were green and some were yellow.
"The green dots are known scouts, the red ones are scouts that have yet to awaken and the yellow ones are scouts that have awaken, but we don't know them," Tony explained.
"Now, my idea is, if we get the help of the other scouts, we should have enough power to defeat them. Of course we still need info."
"Little Cousin, You Rock!" Serena exclaimed, as she clapped Tony on the shoulder.
"But who will go and how will they get there?" Luna asked.
"That's what we need to figure out," Tony said.
"Don't be such a kill joy, Luna," Serena said, still very proud of her cousin.
-end flashback-
"Serena," Tony said.
Serena sits up. "Yeah, Tony," she said.
-to be continued-

This should promise to be an interesting story. I see no major mistakes, aside from making a character's speech of more than one sentence another paragraph. If that were done in future chapters, things would be much easier to understand. That grievance aside, Scouts Around The World is a good story overall!

Yeesh, I hate suspense builders. They just make me all jumpy and mad with curiosity. JUST LIKE THIS ONE IS NOW!!! I really wish I could pay your writer dues, but I'm only 12 years old!! I don't have a credit card yet (I wish). :-( AHHH!!! I really want to see what happens next!!!
