And so it creeps ever nearer,
the time I both fear and anticipate.
The big day, and
though I'll sleep through most of it,
Still I fear it, dread it, and welcome it.
I can't imagine not doing it,
I can't imagine doing it.
I dread the unknown.
Lots of people have been through it,
came out of it "smelling like a rose".
It's advancing, closer, menacing,
dreadful yet wonderful,
if it works.
If it doesn't, there's no turning back.
It is irrevocable.
September 14th..just about 2 weeks away
I become the "Six Million Dollar Rabbit", and
get my new knee.
