I’m done with school,
And it’s sinking in.
I’m not a little girl,
But I’m not a woman.
I’m in between,
And it’s sinking in.
Grade school is done,
Now I’m a freshman.
Everything will count,
And it’s sinking in.
Now I’m afraid.
It’s rather scary.
There are goose bumps
On my skin,
And it’s sinking in.
College is nearing,
It’ll sure be a spin!
I’m realizing now,
That it’s sinking in.
No more school after college.
What will I do?
Real life is coming,
And it’s sinking in.
