My wife asked for a chariot to carry me home
My father sent eight soldiers so I would not walk alone
In the morning of our battle I walked the valley of death
Angels touched her guiding her to a sun lit path
Each of my children say the road to my throne
March the tune of forever hold the memory high
Keep the bagpipe playing as the coffin goes by
Shells left in the honor of a man passing review
Saints stand before him in the standing army
Slowly drums bring comfort to the sound of heartbeat
Thunder of hooves as lightening fills the skies
Drip of the land of honey soft is the call
Heard voices of fifty crying at the wall
Cast the lot of time into the sea of forever
Let the wind weep for ages but not me
Father has given me the son for eternity
Flicker in the shadows candle burns in the hall
