America and Religion Rant

I think this whole religion war thing is getting out of hand and becoming very stupid. I think it's good to have something to believe in, but, there are limits. I think Pres. Bush should just cut off Iraq. When we got there, they were in turmoil because of Saddam, and now that he's gone they think we're defiling the entire country. Studies show if it weren't for America, a bunch of people would starve to death over there - more than now. They think they can do so well without us, cut them off and let them. It's like watching a child drown. They know they're in trouble and sooner or later, they're gonna cry for help. Why do most children drown? Simply because they thought they could do something by themselves and they couldn't.
I'm agnostic for a religion. It suits me fine because I really don't know if there is a God or a Devil and it really doesn't matter to me. It's like; If there is a God "Great." If there isn't "Oh well." I like my religion. I don't fear for my soul, or have fears of Hell or an after-life or anything and that's what helps me not to have so much stress. I just get up and try to be a good person. I'm just tired of Jehova's Witnesses knocking on the door and telling me all the other religions are wrong and they're the only people that are going to Heaven. It's like, they have only a certain number of seats left in Heaven and last time I checked they had three left... KEEP YOUR RELIGION TO YOURSELF. That should be part of the commandments.
America, lastly, is the wealthiest country in the world. We have an Army and weapons that are unsurpassed by anyone else. It's like if anyone out there is good, we're always gonna be better. We upgrade all the time and soon enough we won't even have fingers because everything we do is now a click or a push of a button away. This whole thing about France is rediculous too. President Bush is going on his father's path and making himself look like a confused hobo chosen for President. "This Nation will not be taken hostile" Whoops. "(delete)(delete) Hostage." French Fries became Freedom Fries and it got so rediculous at one point that if you went to McDonald's and ordered some French Fries and said "French" They'd either close up or wouldn't give you anything till you said "Freedom Fries."
All the history is back in Europe. the 13 colonies' history is back in England. We have no traditions anymore. We have the highest crime rate in the world. What job would you like to attempt? "Writing." What would you absolutely not like to try? "President of the United States. It's bad enough having your family think you're an idiot and now you gotta deal with the rest of the world, too."

I completly agree with the religion stuff. Just like you said, if there is one, great. if not, oh well. Don't think of me as a satan follower, or worshipper, but i do believe in an evil force, whereas there is no good. Luck may shine upon you at some point in your life, and they call it a miracle from god. I will only start believe in things from the bible if they are proven correct with scientific data to back it up.
Unlike religion, science can be backed up and proven, that's why it's so dependable. But also with religion, it's basically falling apart. Many people don't attend services, and when they do it's because their forced.
Jehova witnesses also come to my door, and yes it get's annoying when they come EVERY week, but i find myself intrested in what they preach. I may not believe in the meaning, or what they preach, but I am interested in knowing why and what makes them do this.
And yes, keep religion to yourself. Don't attend a school with one religion being practised. My views on that is probably going to get me kicked out, because I plan on making major differentces in my school. I may be jewish, but that doesn't mean I want to learn about other jewish people in the past. I want to learn about religions, and more sciences, spend more time on math, and languages. Hebrew and Yiddish will only get me so far.
By only learning one religion, we don't understand others, and learn to hate what we don't know. There are a lot of racists in my school who hate Arabs for the 9/11 thing. When you're not educated, you don't understand. And if you don't understand, you learn to hate, and isolate yourselves.
As for the America stuff, my opinion doesn't matter much there, as i live in Canada. But i think it was stupid of Bush to wage war, but i must dissagree with not helping Iraq. Everyone deserves a second chance, and they are people to. How would you feel if Bush cut you off? Then again, these are opinions. Most people agree, and most don't. but since the fall of sadaam, it's like learning how to walk again for them. They wanted him gone. They tore down his statues, and they wanted the help. if they back down now, it's their fault. But there should be someone who should try, and even though i hate bush for what he did, he is trying.
Now there's the end to my rant! lol. I love putting my opinion in religious matters :D
