Upon a time, across the sea
Look into that star,
Tell me what you see
What is the magic
The path you've come to hate
the ways you've seen yourself
And the mistakes you make
Tell me another fairytale
Of Princesses of other lands
The dragons and knights that found them
The fate that rests in your hands
The story that made them real
The difference in the fight
The charactor's good and evil
Wrong always lost to right
Upon a time, across the sea
Look into that star
Tell me what you see
Guard the broken wings
The time that's already past
Lose yourself to love
And hope that it will last
Decide upon a way
Make your adventure grand
Make it keep fighting
To stay above the sand
Keep it in a memory
Locked in a secret star
Although almost out of reach
It was never that far
Upon a time, across the sea
Look into that star...
Tell me what you see.

A resounding poem! Mystic, with an ancient air around it that reminds me of Shakespeare for some reason. I really like the refrain, "Upon a time, across the sea; Look into that star; Tell me what you see". Grand write!
This is beautifully written. The words you've chosen are perfect for this poem, and really makes it sparkle. It really does show the "Once upon a time" musts, like the princess and dragons, for example.
wow!!! This poem is awesome. I loved it so much. It has made my favorite poem list. Your rhyming and choice of words were awesome. I can not wait till I read your next poem.
