A love He was born to die for
Bloodied, beaten and bare
Crying out to Heaven
Dieing so the Almighty can spare
Ever fading faster
“Father”, our Savior cries
Grace bestowed upon us
Hope to be realized
In one of life small moments
Jesus lays his heart
Kindheartedly the
Lamb of God does His worldly part
Men who stand there at the cross
Now know what they have done
One man had stood among them
Pride killed Gods’ only son

Sensitive and thoughtful; well composed. My only suggestion would be to run a spell check. If we could only live by what he taught and brought us, what a delightfully different place this world would be!
I clicked thinking I was in for some run-of-the-mill romance poem. Hardly! Jesus did so much for the people he eventually died for, and even more so with his death. It's hard to imagine the gifts he's yet to bestow upon us as the king of God's kingdom. Thank you.
