Love Dawning
by Walter Jones (Age: 63)
copyright 07-13-2004

Age Rating: 4 to 127

Woke to the sound of a robin on my sill

Watched as the moon dropped behind a morning cloud

Touched your skin like the first rays of sunshine

The warmth of both made me smile

Angels singing in the bedroom

Brought me to another place

Life is the glory in the living

Love words written on your face

Soft and gentle the world I live in

All I know comes in time

We will find our own little heaven

As we keep the memory in our mind

Woke to the sound of a robin on my sill

Saw the morning love fresh in your eyes

Touched the wonder of a first moment

Watched sunbeams dance through your hair

Kiss of the dawn joins us together

The miracle allows the world to stand still

Robin sings his morning song to great us

All the wonders of life wait just over the hill
