Can you not feel it?
The way my heart bleeds for you?
Can you not hear it?
The way my soul screams to be free?
Can you not see them?
The tears that flow so freely from my eyes for you?
Can you not smell it?
The fear that pours from my skin?
Can you not taste it?
The bitter sweet love of my Kiss?
Forever will I hold these questions in my heart
Until I can hear your whispers in my ears as we sit beneath the stars by the river that flows full of our Love
I love you Theron
And forever will you be missed in the hearts of many

This is wonderful. I know how you feel. I would like you to read my poem,"And I Think You Did,Too!" It is about the same feeling of loss. Thanks, Anthony
Once again, another good write. You are one of my fav's here on this site. *snif, snif* I can relate to a lot of things in life including death. And everyone has a different way of dealing with that. Some people say everything happens for a reason, some say Satan did it, some say God needed him, some just hate and become mad, and others close up. Whichever one you choose is the right way for you. And it seems writing lets you cope and gets out the anger and sadness (which is a good thing). I know its easier said than done, but time does mend a heart. One of these days you will be able to think about him with a smile and a tear of joy to celebrate the life that was given and enjoyed.
I once thought it was not right to grieve because God must have wanted it that way. Since then I've learned that God doesn't take our loved ones from us, Satan does. And you know what? Even JESUS cried when Lazarus died. I guess it's ok to cry after all...even if you're a man. :-)
So touching, sad, sweet....Your words written by the heart. We cherish the people we love in our memory and souls....
I say nothing about the form of your poem...But all feelings are so lovely and pure!
