I Have Changed
by Cortney Jaruzel (Age: 18)
copyright 09-11-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Last night changed me,
I still fear my ways.
I fear being wrong,
Regreting all I say.
I'm moving on from that fear,
Which I thought I couldn't do.
I'm no longer tied in darkness,
And hiding from you.
A new nights change,
Was all I could need.
This is my answer,
So, I won't have to bleed.
I have changed.

Moving on from fear is a BIG step!
But think how boring and fustrating your life would be if you feared all the time and never overcame them! Sweet!

Hi Cortney, I can see your writing is coming along well....this prose is beyond your years you know...Expression of phsychological stressors that ony psychologist, and we "ole" writers can express from so many experiences in life////Hey e-mail me some time, and share with me what you are focusing on with your poetry.....Barry

Isn't it refreshing? To grow and change and lose a little bit of that fear we have down deep inside (or not so deep)? I once wrote about one of my fears on FENCING FOR LIFE (http://www.prose-n-poetry.com/display_work/1065/) I'd love to know what you thought of it. :-)
