A Wonderful Life
When Death Tolls
by Buddy Ales (Age: 18)
copyright 07-31-2004

Age Rating: 13 to 127

{FADE IN}
They were driving down the road, a few cops pulling out here and there but none could keep up. Holly looked frightened, which made Makoto nervous. He would turn a corner, slowing down then flooring it so cops would zoom past at the turn-off and have to turn around. They would suddenly hear a helicopter from above, and Holly would look up through the sun-roof, "Makoto, they're going to get us." Makoto would growl and continue to drive, accelerating now which only made things worse. The helicopter pilot would fire a shot from the helicopters gun and it would kill Makoto but not Holly. The car would spiral out of control and slam down into a ditch and roll over. Holly was going to be dead soon and she knew it, so with all her might she leaned into Makoto and kissed him, his eyes still slightly open and then they would both completely die.
{Fade Out - Credits}

Authors Message: I know, I know, a short book. I bet your all wondering how I got the {Fadeing} stuff. Well, I origionally intended for this to be a play-script of sorts, but decided to do things a little differently. I'm sorry for the short ending, but I plan on writing another book in my spare time and doing some more reading while I'm at it. Writing this short book has been wonderfull, a wonderfull writing experience, and I can't wait to get started on my next book, which I plan will be longer and more exciting. The man killed in the car accident was Makoto and Holly's friend from the beginning when they are talking about a missing person, which was Makoto's father, the owner of the second car.

Well, that was short. I noticed that Hollie's name was spelled Holly. You must really want
Makoto to die, is that it? Like I said before, maybe if you added, a lot, more details and extended it more, you wouldn't have to write another book on this and it would get a lot more reviews. Well, talk to you later.
