A Child's Tears
by Chelsea Armstrong (Age: 23)
copyright 01-07-2005

Age Rating: 4 to 127

  A Child's Tears

So soft and Innocent they are
So lovable and divine
Lost to those whom not care at all
For their tears fall like rain

They search so desperately for one they can call thier own
They are what make us whole
They are what make us fight harder
They are what make us search for the light at the end of a darkend road
They are the voices we do not hear
They are the tears we do not share

These are the children of Hope
Cherish them and they shall return your dreams
For without them
There is no Us

Listen hard for the whispers they scream
Watch close so you may catch the fallen tears
Hold them close, they will understand
Touch their hearts, and they will remember

These are the Children Of Hope

i really injoyed this poem. I thought that the picture really helped the poem and supported it well. Good job!

Heard your voice on the wind of time, lost myself in the journey in your mind, soft and sweet each line, you are the child more than hope you will find. Excellent write, hope your world is well..Walt

I do so love children, and hope?... well, what would life be without it? :-)

Lost to those whom not care at all ... this line is awkward and perhaps a DO NOT or a DON'T would make it sound better?

Listen hard for the whispers they scream ... I liked that line. :-)
