I Didn't Mean the Things I Said

  I Didn't Mean the Things I Said

Ever since we started seeing each other,
My heart had been beating fast,
Ever since we ended seeing each other,
My heart has slowed down,
I wish you would come back to me,
And lay back in my arms,
Because I didn't mean the things I said.
Ever since I started seeing someone else,
My heart is still going so slow,
Ever since I started seeing someone else,
I still wanna love you so,
Because I didn't mean the things I said.

I'm sure everyone has felt this way. I'm feeling it now. You say or do things that cause you to lose someone and still, you can never forget about them. You can move on, but still you can never forget or stop caring for them.

Great Write!

Ooooh,
I love the picture you put with this poem! It's absolutely perfect! Ack! You're too young to have to deal with the drama of a broken heart!!!! *pantpantpant*... but since you have, hang in there kid. You're very skilled with word play for your age. Keep it up!

This is a poem that is very well heartfelt. I'm sure that several of us have felt this. Just remember, you can't change the past, but you can change what happens in the future. Hope everything goes good.

I like the honesty here. (And I REALLY like the picture you chose) The picture reflects the pain and angst you feel over a mistake such as what you wrote about.

I read on your author page that you broke your collar bone in a bike and car accident. OUCH! I broke my collar bone when I was younger, but I did it falling off a couch while I was sleeping... lol. What happened? Are you ok?

Awww, It reminds me of my X, I sometimes wish I didn't say the things I said but now I got over it and I'm doing fine.

Great poem.
