I Think of You ( Dedicated To My Grandpa)
by Sarah B. (Age: 14)
copyright 08-19-2004
Contest Winner

Age Rating: 4 to 127

Whenever I'm alone,
I think of you,
Whenever I am sad,
I think of you,
I keep on wondering why,
Why you had to leave,
I am sad without you,
I wish that you could see that,
I think of you,
Whenever I'm alone,
I think of you,
Whenever I am sad,
I think of you
You were always there for me,
when I was Scared,
Now when I'm Alone,
There's nothing I can do,
....But think of you.

In Memory of My Loving Grandpa Who Is No Longer Here.

The pain of losing someone so close as you were to you grandfather is extreme i think that if I had to go through that I would probably go crazy or not smile or talk again, but as for you smile and he from heavean will smile down at you

Wow,
For a young lady your age this is very well done. I can very much relate to how you feel about you Grandpa's passing because I lost my Grandma over the summer. It's difficult to lose a loved one, esecially one who you're so close to. Your heart will heal with time but never lose the memories you have with your Grandpa.

I can relate to that one. I loved my grandpa over everything! He was the best ever. I thought that was very well written for your age. You go girl. I feel your pain.

Regina is right, he'll never leave you, and he'll
always be watching over you like a guardian angel.
But one day you'll get over the sadness and be happy again.
