Finding Homeroom

Finding Homeroom~

Everyone knows how on the frist day of school it always seems that for some strange reason, evreybody can find their class as if it was instinct, like birds and migrating south for the winter while we freeze our ears off during the holidays- EXCEPT FOR YOU! As you may, or may not, have imagined, the school I was going to had two, nearly identical, main buildings with two floors (which we also nearly identical) - plus the gym - thus, finding any class was extreamly hard. While as was aimlessly wandering around to find my homeroom, I bumped -literally- into Vanessa, a girl one year older than me (no surprise) who just happened to be a fellow Sailormoon fan AND looking for the same class as me. She asked if I needed any help finding my way to class and I sad no, because I have a school map. It was only logical
for her to ask why it was still in my backpack-which she did, so I took the liberty of explaining to her that whenever I use a map I get lost, but it always helps to have it as a good-luck charm... even though I don't believe in luck.
So we wandered around together, using the map, for about ten minutes for homeroom- with no avail. We wound up back right where we started which, unfortunately for us, was our homeroom. After a long pause of realizing how stupid our situation was, we entered. When the teacher asked how we could get so lost, I told her- and I quote- "with a map". The students laughed. The teacher understood, which still baffles me.
(The most embarassing part of it all is: the rooms, and that map, were numbered)

I just started the going-from-class-to-class thing, and I get lost getting everywhere.
Here is what I do: I grab onto my best friend's backpack, and we call it our " Secret express."
The two of us run through the thick crowds an, VOILA! I'm in class!
Try it with a friend.
Experiment, Learn, and Enjoy.
FBI Warning: Kids, do not try this at home.

Wow I like never get lost. I look at my map on the bus and think of the number ten times in my head and then I find it and yea. We don't have those two floor things just one floor with like over 170 rooms, lol. Literaly there's 170 teachers.

lol!! This only happened to me my firsy day of grade 7. I got lost to almost all of my classes, and walked in five-ten minutes late. It was only excusable for the first few days of school, so I got in trouble wuite a bit throughout the year.

lol! i'm sorry this happened, but it does make for a funny story^-^

good job, i didn't see anything wrong with it except that you may want to seperate it a bit so its not all one big jumble..it make it easier to read, and the easier, the pleasanter^-^

lucky for me, my middle school is in the same building I went to in elementary school last year. Just started sixth. I got used to the rooms. NEXT OBLIGATION: Following the schedule!

Oh, this is so funny.
You know what?
I think that maps were made to confuse people.
Seriously, whenever I use a map, I only end up
finding the right place my doing the exact opposite of what the map tells me to.
This makes me feel much better about getting lost in my new school because I can't find homeroom.
Thanks for comforting me, though I don't think you planned on it....
