A Living Sacrifice

A Living Sacrifice
Sharon ...©
(Romans 12:17-14:1)

To become a living sacrifice to God
we must learn how to listen and obey,
and always follow through
with everything we hear him say.

Never pay back
evil for evil to any part.
But let all men see
that you are honorable in your heart.

Live in peace as much as possible
with every soul.
Never avenge yourself,
No grudges should you hold.
Leave that to God,
for he will repay those who deserve it
with a price far more than gold.

Except the ones who are weak in faith,
and with them, you should pray.
Do not disagree with them
on what is right or wrong.
God has not given you the authority
to do these precious ones this way.
But lead them to his word,
so they can find out for themselves,
exactly what he has to say.

God is not slight in his business,
or his creations.
He has already prepared for us
our heavenly destinations.

His power and his love
is there to help us all
do as we should.
Endure long suffering
and take on the pains of each other,
if we would.

Live to please God and not man,
But love and pray for them.
For this is his plan and his way
to bring all creations to the
perfect day in him.
