Childs' Eyes
by Kaitie Mcquiston
copyright 09-02-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

As the strength and purity of my childhood fades
I look back on the years which now seem like days
I see skinned knees' and childhood friends
I see my child like innocence withering to an end
I look at my parents and relive their devorice
But I realize now what I didn’t then each persons life must runs its own course
I see my first kiss and heart brake as one
When you think life is over it has truly just begun
I’m caught between two life’s of a women and a child
15 years seems like such along time, but I’m still in life’s first mile
I live with out regret and I will live forever in my ageless disguise
Of seeing life as through a child’s eyes

This is just beautiful. I enjoyed reading it because it made me think back of my childhood. I love the emotion conveyed in this. :D Great job.
