My Big Sister

As she sleeps I watch and wonder how life would be
If she didn’t have a baby sister, of course that being me
When I fell down she carried me that last mile
And when I’m sad she knows,
Just how to make me smile
When I have a problem she is the first place I go
I wonder how she keeps that smile and her true feelings down below
She’s the rock on which I stand
If she weren’t there then I’d quickly sink into the sand
I’m glad I have a big sister slash my biggest fan
But getting to the point I just love you, Sam

~~ to my sister I love you~~~~

nice poem. It is great to have such a big sister. I feel the same about my brother, but have never quite been able to put it into words. With a special big sister or a special brother it seems someone is always there when you need them most. Your poem has captured this feeling.
