At exactly 5.20 pm a loved little birdy was saved by 3 young ladies from the chambers of a drain 3 days ago has never the less, passed away.
It was discovered that a grasshopper head did this, we fed it to her.
To our regret she cannot and did not digest it properly therefore, she choked silently on it for 6 hours as i was at school and another two hours when we came back home.
It came down hard on us as we were already very attached to her, but not so to the others.
For we sat by her from the time she was breathing till the time she stoped.
We cried silently for those hours we thought it was most painful hours we experienced this year.
I am sure nothing can replace what was once the most beautiful, cutest, and most loving pet bird that we ever had.
Lets all sit and ponder of how Blossom, used to charm us all when she was with us.
hope you will be happy up there,
We love you, Blossom!

I hate it when pets die. I know how you feel I have lost two dogs. Both were hit by cars but it took me along time to stop crying. You really will never forget your bird. I never forgot my dogs. Like Anthony the story brings back memories from my past.

I know just how you feel. My friends cat died before and I loved that cat and I found a dead bird in the snow before that I found the next day that it got eaten
Eugina,
Sometimes, despite our best efforts, things do not turn out they way we wish they would. This is a very touching piece, and the reader feels all the emotions you go through.
This sentence..."It has came down hard.."
Take out 'has', and let the sentence read
"It came down hard on us, as we were already very attached to her."
A sentimental tribute to a little spirit, very nice.
