~*Freed Soul*~
by Lisa Anderson (Age: 18)
copyright 09-04-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

In Memory of Chris Wallschlaeger: A fellow christian, neighbor, and parishner. He was 15 when he passed away.
Paddling out to sea,
The water so blue.
The water became deeper,
He didn’t know what to do.
First he went under,
Then popped up quite fast.
He realized he was drowning,
This breath was his last.
Slowly he slipped under
As he started to fade.
Finally it became dark,
As he floated and prayed.
“Take me to the heavens,
Out from the sea,
Take me to paradise,
Where my soul can be free.”
The world was gone,
And so was he.
Now in heaven,
His soul is free!

My Note: Chirs was going to be making confirmation with me this December, but recently drowned while paddling on his sail board. He was a sophmore in high school.

I like the way you write straight from the heart. Good job Lisa. Oh so sad.

that is soooo sad. It does remind me though of biking down by his house and where he drown that was really weird.

How sad. There was a boy named Steve that died before I got to see him in highschool along with the rest of our friends. It's so sad when someone dies, and especially when someone so young dies.

I have to admit that thoughts of Paradise after the great resurrection give me hope for all those who I've lost in death. That greedy creature death!
