The Police officer

  The Police officer

I wake up every morning ready to work
With this life i live, there is no quirk

I make a cup of coffee just for me
Just another part of my morning routine

I head to school to learn the things I already know
I eat up through lunch and away I go

I head to the station and check in
There the office walls are paper thin

I log in the computer to see what I do today
Then after that, it is on my way

I get in the car with my uniform on
Then I wait for my partner's wife and food to be gone

We go on patrol all day through the night
Hoping to survive yet another day

Police work is dangerous and that is all right with me
Being a police officer is all I want to be

I may not have a gun but I get by
My partner is there to defend my life

Now I may not have a gun. but that won't last
Because all the bad guy know I run super fast

This is what I do and I do it will
I will still do it the day Gabriel rings her bell

My work is dangerous don't you see
This kind of man is who I want to be
