My Light (part 4)

With this war raging
I have to fight to stay alive
I am constantly surrounded by the darkness
It almost overruns me entirely
I am beginning to think I'm losing the war

The only thing that's kept me alive
Is my companionship with these lights
They have made me want to survive
To search for what I know I need
The light I've been waiting for

It feels like I'm searching blindly
In a place so familiar yet unknown
It seems like I've searched to Hell and back
And found nothing but the same false lights
And most abundantly the bitter cold darkness

I have given up on searching
I haven't got the strength left to continue
There is nothing left in me
To fight any more to survive this
Now I'm entirely vulnerable to the darkness...
