I spoke a verse for you, my love
A verse in perfect rhyme
I spoke it so our love
Would be forever etched in time
So the years could not erase it
Or cover it in sand
So your heart could not deny me
Or claim it didn’t understand
I knew you didn’t want to hear it
You begged me not to say
But I find I can’t not say it
Or I would feel myself betrayed
So I spoke a verse for you, my love
A verse that was not new
But I spoke it anyway
I simply said, I love you

I'm really starting to think it is imposable for you to spell some thing wrong. Great poem nice and love. Not my favorit by other authers but you do it so well. As alaways the pic is perfect. Great poem and it has a nice rythym. Good one.:)
