~Good-bye Jasmin~

So the time has come to say our good-bye's.
I knew you were ready,
I could see it in your pretty eyes.

My mind was racing, my heart filled with pain.
I tried to be strong for you,
but the tears fell just like rain.

I held your hurting body really close to mine.
It'll only be a second,
a second no meaning to time.

I told you I loved you and kissed you on the head.
You looked up at me peacfully like saying...
"Please, Mom, please, just put me to bed.

I held your limp body, crying and so sad.
Telling you I love you and miss you,
That you were the best friend I've ever had.

Now you're in heaven with the Angels and God.
I'm left without you, crying,
Knowing my life would be really odd.

This day would come as we both knew.
I'll alway love you and never forget,
A shrine of rememberance I've dedicated to you.

"In Loving Memory of Jasmin Marie"
July 1994 - September 29, 2004
"My loyal Feline"
I'll always love you Jazzy!

Very sweet write. I know the feeling my friend, I lost one one my babies about a year ago. He was hit by a car. He was the biggest ole cuddly bug you ever saw. I'm sorry for your loss, she sounds like she was a sweetheart. Take care and Have fun. Steve

Great emotion shown here. It is hard to let something go so easily, when you have worked so hard to gain it. Pets are an importent part to a young ones life. And so is Love.
Great Write.

Hey jen,
I know how u feel. It is hard to say good-bye to someone you love. My cat died because his kidnees stoped working so his blood wasn't clean and he didn't eat so we took him to the vet and they put him to sleep.

So sad! I usually have my children read your work..but they'll get depressed thinking of their own cat, Leggo. It's so sad when a pet passes away. They are sometimes the best friends we ever had, and sometimes...the only ones we have. Hugs hun!
