Life's Gonna Suck Without You
by Amanda C. (Age: 17)
copyright 03-25-2005

Age Rating: 13 to 127

I know one day
We’ll be forced to make
Our own worlds go ablaze,
And to go our separate ways,

But life’s gonna suck without you.
I’m outta luck without you.
Don’t wanna let you fade away,
Not again!

Breathe all the love around you.
See all the friends who’ve found you.
Keep what you always give away,
Away.

Feel all the sounds around you.
Free from the chains that bound you.
Listen to what you’re never told.
Beauty’s not the only thing
Beholder’s eyes still hold.
So hold me!

But who is
The one who says,
‘Time to let go‘?

But life’s gonna suck without you.
Won’t run or duck without you.
Please don’t let me pass away,
Again.

Real are the ropes that bind me.
Scares? I’ll leave them behind me.
Walk, there’s no need run away-
Anymore.

Standout, fight what dims who can’t rebound.
That’s where happiness is found.
Don’t let your charisma sway.
Do things your own way!

‘Cause life’s gonna suck without you
Don’t wanna do without you.
Not gonna let you fade away,
Away, away.

To my friend, Melissa R., as an early birthday present. She'll be turning fifteen on Valentine's Day.

Ditto to all the other comments. This is really good. Find someone to write the music and give it a try.
