Rubbish
by Doreen Reynolds
copyright 03-20-2005

Age Rating: 7 to 127

This is a parody like Alice in Wonderland "You are old Father William"

I am young said the man, as he stood sitting down
While my hair is really quite grey
I am here said the man, dressed like a clown
As he visably walked away.

I am low, said the Queen
So incredably down
Sitting up here on my throne
It's unbelievably dull up here all alone
Twiddling around with the crown.

I am flying around in the air
While sitting down here on the ground
I'm happy while full of care
I'm quiet while making much sound.

I must finish now before I begin
I must go away now while I come
I must end this poem getting out while I'm in
I must start now that I am done. Doreen Reynolds

This is cute . I wrote one that I will put up someday called, " A mistake" it has a lot of the same analogies. This poem is very funny and I am glad I read it! Thanks, Anthony
