A small boy stands guard over his babies
Caring for his wee ones that no harm may befall.
Young man, not yet six springs old
Stands tall and strong
Teacher
Wise beyond his years
Missionary
Soldier brave and true
Child of Love
Finding beauty in all places
Take the time to look and see
Listen to this child’s words of wisdom.
Two little sisters look up to big brother with great respect
A big brother looks up to his little brother and wonders
Will he ever be able to walk in his brother’s moccasins.
Little angel in Heaven
Watching over his family always.
Call him hero
He will simply reply:
“I’m no hero
I’m just a very small Saturday Warrior
Doing my work.”

I hate how I have to keep saying that the one thing that bugs me is detail. A lot of your poems hold great subjects that aren't worthless and shouldn't be over looked but it is about describing the images or the people and making it so they really come to life. I honestly can't give you that much greef because I myself have to go back several times to add detail but it is the difference between a 4star and a 5star. Anyway in this I think it is magnificant how you tell of a love that is strong and that someone will protect. Also a bit strange but yet touching. Love your work, just needs to be a bit more descriptive.
