You reflect such a sad love in the wells of your eyes
Your lips twinge, knowing the cruelty of the world’s heart
Yet you stand strong, unfazed by a hurricane of winds
And I, a gentle whisper in the pulling air, admire you
For while change drags me screaming along, you stand unmoved

Dedicated to a hero.

It's me agean. This is a nice one not your best but still good. It has a lot of emotion and is very flowing. Its prety short and nice. Not my strong point in poems. But you do it wonderfully. Even though I still like your Dark stuff better. Some might disagree but I like dark everything. Nice poem!:)

Beautiful. I look at the quality of a piece like this and aim to improve the imagery of my own work... wish me luck and good for you.
Thanks
