Hello Everyone!

Guess what!!!

Apparently, while Mom was "sleeping" and in her "coma"... she pulled out her breathing tubes. This happened Saturday evening/Sunday morning. She was scheduled for a tracheostomy on Monday (today), but since she's doing just fine, they've cancelled the surgery. Yay! Oh, and in case you're wondering, there's no way to tell if she did any damage to her vocal chords until she tries to speak, which isn't in the near future as far as we know.

Also, the doctor was pleasantly surprised to see Mom wincing and moving her fingers (both hands) and both feet as well. Yay! (Of course, he still says it's "involuntary" at for the time being...we'll see, eh?)

Finally, here's a link from a dear friend regarding Mom's injuries.

I just thought you'd like to have access to all related information.

Well, my lunch is over so I better get back to work now.

Take care, all. And I'm waiting for those cassette tapes to roll in. Mom would LOVE to hear them!

Love you,

BrytEyz
