Dreaming
by Ajda G. (Age: 16)
copyright 05-02-2005

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Always with your name on my lips
Dreaming of your face and your kiss

Constantly talking mean to your face
How's that for my perfect grace?

I just can't express my feelings
But I can hide them without revealing

You said at one point it wasn't mutual
But at times, I still can't tell if that's factual

When someone says that funny something
Our eyes always meet, out of everybody

And at other times, in the middle of class
I'll glance at you, waiting for time to pass

When I'm in your group or with you sitting close
I restrain from holding you for the most

Can't you understand how I feel
And confess your own feelings for real?

Just tell me and get it over with
Before I die of impatience

My love for you burns so
Why is this something you can't know...?

Some guys just don't get the hint, or more likely, he is just shy. I remember when I was younger I loved to flirt with the girls, but when I found one I actually liked, I lost my voice and couldn't speak to her at all.
Give him room; if it is to be, he will come around.

The flow in this poem is great and so is the rhyming.
