(If You Could See Me) This Way
by Leah Garrison (Age: 20)
copyright 11-22-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

how would you feel
what would you say
if you had the chance
to see me this way?

my cheeks
stained
from rivers of tears
my voice
shot
from screaming at fears
my eyes
red
searching for someone
who never appears

tell me the truth
what would you do
if you could see me now?

Love and loss are two of the most used subjects in poetry. Your loss here has created a wonderful poem about loss, but who's loss is it? I think the one that lost is the one that left, for the one that wrote this is special. Thanks, Anthony

I really like the emotions in this, I would like it if you caps some of the letters, but that doesn't really matter because it was the style you chose in this poem.
