The Difference Between Today and Tomorrow

Tomorrow, I’ll walk in your shoes
Today, I’m just me feelin’ blue
It’s hard enough, to see where I am
But, I’ll walk your road, if I can
I’m lost, confused, dazed, and dry
I watch my tears fall, as I cry
I’m struggling hard just to be me
But one of these days I will be free
And I’ll have seen things from your view
I will be one of those special few
Though, I can’t lie about who I am
I can barely face myself where I stand
So I’ll challenge my reflection everyday
And the darkness within will fade away
Tomorrow, I’ll walk in your shoes
Today, I’m just me feelin’ blue

We can always improve from the way we feel one day to the way we feel the next day. If we keep telling ourself to keep going and moving, we'll have a better chance of doing so without any treas shed in out paths. It's good to cry sometimes, but we always need to get back up again.
Very nice piece, and this is defiantly one of your better. I liked how you layed this one out and the story it tells. I've read so many poems, and all authors have their own way of writing, but yours is one of my favorites. The picture is as fitting as ever, and it's so nice to read work that the grammar and spelling is very nice... The recent stuff I've been reading is... I won't get into it. This is a very creative piece, and I'm glad that the Reader system was started so I can still read it! Keep up the great work!

May the divine darkness be with you,
Leigh of the Commenting Crusaders

My shadow haunts me and follows me lurking in the darkness... It's always telling me to keep moving forward when I just want time to stop for a little while... Pain is all I know, and my shadow keeps pushing me... I've got to keep going forward no matter how much I'm feeling lost...

really nice and has a touch of hope despite saying you're feeling blue, that you will get up and walk and that there is hope and the picture works really well too!!!! good write
