I am drowning in a pool, screaming with no sound
Tied to utter silence, released and then rebound
Caged like an animal, inside I am subdued
I try to gain control, but the world is so shrewd
Can’t someone help me, save me from the dark
Open my eyes; remove this demon’s mark
Please take my hand, show me something bright and new
Melt my heart of stone; teach me to be true
Force me to wake, for the first time let me be aware
Look into my eyes and wake me from this nightmare

It is so nice to know that while the feelings were real when this was written, I know that all is not darkness with you. This again is a good write about a sad time in everybodys lives. When we are getting ready or have just left high school, the world is out there and we feel so scared and alone! Great write SamiJo. Anthony
