There’s a place deep in the forest where no one ever goes
It’s hidden by the pine trees where the briar thicket grows
Beyond the mystic waters of some gently flowing streams
The safest way to get there is to travel in your dreams
The wee folk that dwell there keep it only to themselves
And it’s there that you will find the magic playground of the elves
They dance and work their mischief underneath the starry sky
And woe to those who have the sad misfortune to pass by
The ones who have been brave enough to boldly enter in
Were captured by the elven folk and never seen again
It’s said they snare these people with enchanted magic vines
And keep them deep within the earth to work their diamond mines
So if you’re brave enough my friend, say farewell to your kin
And we’ll travel there together and try to silently creep in
If by chance we are fortunate enough to see it for ourselves
There’s nothing quite as magical as the playground of the elves

Nicely written, good word pictures. Why do so many people stop believing in the little folk.
Here in the UK there are lots of places where they are said to exist, especially in the Isle Of Man. There are tales galore there.
I should sign this Peter Pan,,,,lol.
