  Your Stories

I read the stories that you write.
They take me back to long ago.
I want to ask just what you mean,
not just what you might want to show.

The stories that you tell are deep.
would you tell me, I need to know.
I read the stories that you write.
They take me back to long ago.

Your stories make me want to think,
yet some though are not very clear,
explain them to me could you dear?
I can not get them at first sight.
I read the stories that you write,
they take me back to long ago.

(This is a Rondel form of poetry)

And read, we must, if we want to be good writers. You, obviously read a lot from others, yourself, and your comments are wonderful. I, too, see you as a good friend, here at P-N-P.
I would award points, but guess what? I have none, so busy reading, giving them away, and entering those silly contests!

LOL,

Jim

This poems reads great, now I'll have to find out exactly what a Rondel poem is. I've never studied poems structure or terminologies; I guess I've got a lot to learn. Once I understand what this form of poetry is, I'll have to try to write one.

Regards,
David Pekrul

Very clever poem and interesting. Most of my own poems are about long ago, I love history, all the jewels of the past. I hope you understand them OK. You do have very good writing ability.
Thank you.
Mervin H.
