Remind Yourself
by Delaney Lindley (Age: 18)
copyright 12-15-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Hold your breath
Try to raise your solemn voice to Heaven's low
Think you can go this time
Admit your problems
Your faded love
Your self-loathing
But most of all
Break the habit
Remind yourself to die

Reaching for each other
In the evening light of a candle
We want to feel
To hold
To touch
To be together without suppression of ecstacy
Let go our lives
Survive in time
And be together
In this dellusion of forever

With faded letters
With lip prints and stained make up
Ill-forgotten perfume left on each note
And remind myself...

You're gone now.

This poem is so full of emotions. Sad emotions.
The last stanza was the best one.
I think I'm gonna read more of your work.
Much Love, Charlotte

Remind Yourself makes me think that you are very sad. I hope your thoughts are getting better or at least the reason for those thoughts, I hope is getting better. You are very talented and we are very happy to have you here! Keep up the good work. Thanks, Anthony
