Christmas has come, a time full of giving, a time full of cheer!
Traffic is thick, malls are crowded, everyone's fear!

Trees are up, houses all lit, Christmas is in the air!
Tentions are high, moneys tight, through the crowds we all tear!

Kids are excited, Santa's coming, moms baking in the kitchen!
Nobodys sleeping, everyones fighting, theres nothing but friction!

Christmas arrives, everyones happy, most of us have smiles.
Go to bed early, must exchange gifts, rushing through the isles.

Chrsitmas is over, remember the laughter, all of the cheer!
Six months of peace, time to relax, get ready for next year!

Yes Chrismas is a time of stress these days. Not much to do with religeon, more with spending money. Well here in the UK that is.
The words I mostly hear are "I'm glad that's over".

I think all the little kids are trying so hard to be good they just can't help being bad.

Yes, Christmas is an exciting and sometimes stressful time. We should put less emphasis on the material and just relax and enjoy the spirit of the season.
Well written...
but, one small typo on stanza 5: Christmas is spelled wrong.
