All We See

Every day we awake
To look through fogged windows.
Sifting the bad from the good
looking only at the good parts of life.
Locking out what we need to see
In order to face our fears,
and live our lives.
This was written because as I was driving around town one cold night I saw people I knew that looked all happy. But I knew they were hiding the fact that they were depressed.
Without pushing through the parts of life that give us pain and make us sad. We would not be able to stand up and fight for something we believe in when that time comes.
