Which is the Myth?

This isn't really about Sailor Moon, more a random thought.

I live in Canada.
You know how how we all live in igloos up here?
Well, we don't-well OK, some of us do, but very few.
But my point is, I don't think that most Americans believe we all live in igloos, however, there are many Canadians who believe that all Americans believe we live in igloos.
So which is the real myth?
Is there an American myth that we all live in igloos, or is it a Canadian myth that Americans believe we live in igloos. I'm not even sure any more...

I think Canadians believe that... I didn't even know that Canadians lived in igloos...

lol I love that myth. It's always funny when someone thinks we all live in igloos, play hockey ALL the time, interact with Moose, and drink beer.
Jim Carrey does a comedy thing about Canada, and igloos, and hockey and stuff. Not in any movie, you can download it. I don't remember what it's called, or if it had bad language, because most of his comedy stuff does have bad language.
