~SAILOR MERCURY SAVES THE DAY~

Amy Anderson (a.k.a. crime figher Sailor Mercury) swung her blue backpack over her shoulder and ran out of the school building to head for home. "AMY! WAIT UP!" her best friend, Serena Tsukino (a.k.a. leader of the sailor scout fighting team, Sailor Moon) screeched. She finally caught up to Ami and began to pant. "Woah, you literally bolted out the door when the bell rang to end last period, huh? What's up? You got a 99.9 percent on the test again?" Usagi joked. Ami managed a weak laugh. "No, I got a 110% because I got the extra credit right. What did you get?" she said, furrowing her eyebrows questioningly staring at her friend. Usagi pouted. "I don't wanna talk about it!" she said.
"Serena..."
"All right! I got a 45 percent. What's it to you?"
Amy sighed. No matter how she tried to tutor Serena at study meetings with her other friends, she just couldn't get information through Serena's meatball head! "You didn't study, did you?"
"Shut up! I did SO! For about 10 minutes..."
"Serena, if you fail Science again this year---"
A loud noise stopped Amy from her daily lecture to Serena. It was a loud roar, appearing to be coming from about 2 streets away. The girls ran over to see what was wrong.

A few minutes later, the two girls were staring up at a huge, purple blob. "Oh, come ON! I wanna go home and have some cookies!" wailed Serena. Amy but a finger to her lips to tell Serena to be quiet as she pulled out her transformation wand. "Let's go, Serena. I think it's time we transformed..."
"Oh yeah. Duh!" Serena grabbed hers as well. They transformed into their Sailor outfits:

"MERCURY POWER!"
"MOON PRISM POWER!"

The monster dropped the girl he was holding to the ground and stared at the scouts. "Ohohoho!" it laughed. "You think YOU can stop ME? Queen Beryl summoned me because I am the strongest!"
"I don't think so!" shouted Sailor Moon. "I'm Sailor Moon, champion of justice!"
"And I'm Sailor Mercury, ready to freeze your evil plots!" Mercury said.
"AND IN THE NAME OF THE MOON WE SHALL PUNISH YOU!" they both cried. The monster laughed and shot a blow of green laser towards them both. They fell to the ground simulatneously.
"I'll try an attack on him," Sailor Moon whispered. She shakilly stood up and grabbed her tiara from her forehead. "MOON TIARA MAGIC!" she shrieked. At first, the attack seemed to work. The blob---or whatever it was---was still for quite a time. Suddenly, out of the blue, it struck back at Sailor Moon and she fell backwards again, this time almost out cold. "Mercury," she whispered. "Take it from here. You're smart. You can handle it..." And with that, Sailor Moon's eyes closed and she passed out.

Sailor Mercury stood there, gaping at the monster. How was she supposed to defeat it by herself? Then suddenly it seemed like her heart was being tugged on by a feeling of doubt. "I'm used for the brains of the group...not the fighting part..." said a voice in her mind. "Why am I even here anyway? What is my purpouse?" said another. Sailor Mercury was confused and weak from that previous fall. What should she do?

The monster growled, breaking Amy's thoughts. "Ha! Looks like Sailor Moon IS a whimp! I bet you're just like her too!" shouted the monster. Then, suddenly, Mercury was no longer gaping at the monster. Then, a thought came to Mercury's mind that hit her like a brick---she knew Serena needed her help, and there she was thinking about herself! She needed to defeat that monster...for Sailor Moon, for the other scouts, for the world! Sailor Mercury formed a ball of bubbles into her hands, and with all her might, she screamed, "MERCURY BUBBLES...BLAAAAAAAAST!"
The monster screeched and disintegrated into a million pieces, and then disappeared. "I did it!" Mercury said aloud. Almost as if on cue, Sailor Moon opened her eyes, sat up, and looked around. "Huh? Amy? Where's the monster?" she said groggily. Mercury smiled. "I defeated it. You okay?"
Sailor Moon nodded and winked at Mercury. "Great job, Aim. I knew you could do it! You're the best!"

The two friends walked to Serena's house later that night around 7:00. "Here's your house, Serena. See you tomorrow!" said Amy. Serena nodded and smiled. "I'll just tell my mom I was with Molly at her house or something like that. Shell never know we were kicking some purple blob's butt...or at least YOU were. Thanks again Amy. You saved the world!"
Serena waved goodbye and skipped into the house.

As Amy headed for her house, she smiled to herself.

Maybe there was more to "Sailor Mercury" than she even knew herself...

THE END

Well, at first Sailor Mercury was a little like a whimp, saying that she was the brains, not the fighter of the group, but then she realizes that she really is special, keep up the good work!
