A Question of Seeing

  A Question of Seeing
Picture Credits: http://www.elfwood.com

My days and nights melt into one, and I’ve done nothing to stop it.
I’m too busy chasing dreams that alone, would never come to me.
So what time have I for your light and darkened purposes,
When worlds of rainbows flash tauntingly before my eyes?
I follow each lead wherever it will take me, without question.
Is such tireless pursuit a sin, when it is almost in my grasp?
I can almost taste it; it is to be my sweetest victory yet.
But you see nothing of the dreams I tirelessly chase in the night.
Truth be told I have barely seen them myself, but their promise is wondrous.

This is a really good poem. This is the kind of poem that I like. And the picture matches quite well with the poem. Good job SamiJo!

Another great poem, and I just want to mention again that the pictures you chose for your poems are always wonderful. Just one spelling error that I could see;
in the fifth line 'fallow', I'm pretty sure you meant 'follow', unless I'm missing someting.
Great work as always...

I feel lost in this piece. Though it is good and I enjoy the work. Sometimes we must follow blindly where we are led and it is hard to get someone else to follow us when they can't see the dream. Thanks, Anthony
